Poultry Shield is a multipurpose cleaner. In a 10% solution, this product is able to clean and remove the organic matter present on material, equipments, cages: it acts by dissolving the fat present in the matter and rinsing it away. In addition to the detergent effect of the product, we are able to notice a secondary action on red mites. In fact these parasites gather in colonies linked by a wax coating to protect them from the outside environment. As soon as you spray them with Poultry Shield it removes this wax linkage and enables the water present in the solution to rinse them out and carry them away from their shelter. The consequence of this process is the control and the reduction of the red mites population.

Poultry Shield contains no pesticide.
